Made with thoroughly washed bitterleaf, a rich blend of palm oil, thickened with cocoyam paste, and seasoned with local spices, this deeply flavorful soup is prepared with your choice of assorted meat, beef, or fresh fish. It’s bold, earthy, and delicious — best enjoyed with pounded yam, fufu, or semovita.
Ingredients: Washed bitterleaf, palm oil, cocoyam paste (thickener), crayfish, ogiri (fermented locust bean paste), stockfish (optional), assorted meat / beef / fish, Scotch bonnet peppers, onions, seasoning cubes, salt.
